Who said bow ties were only for boys?!? Not the case! They make a great favor for a bow tie themed baby shower! And there is NO SEWING! Just a little hot glue!

bow tie favor cut fabric

Start with two scraps if fabric: 9″ x4″ and 2″x4″.

bow tie favor fold 1

With the larger piece of fabric, fold the edges in and use an iron to press them down.

Then take the sides and fold them into the middle, overlapping them a little bit, and press again.

bow tie favor fold 3

With the smaller scrap, fold the long sides and press them just as you did with the larger scrap.

bow tie favor pinch

Take the large piece and pinch it in the middle forming the bow.

bow tie favor middle wrap

Wrap the smaller fabric strip around the center.

bow tie favor back

Adhere the strip in the back with a little bit of hot glue. Trim the edge.

bow tie favor pin

Hot glue a pin to the back. (you could use this for a barrette or headband as well)

What an adorable favor box idea! These would look so cute at a Little Man themed party. Thanks for helping with the bow tie party. The visuals were great!
